UNITY - 2010
Rival Killers - 2010
OVERKILL MEDIA's own production, a satire black comedy short about two competing serial killers - Carlos and Alicia.
The 17 min. film is packed with music and sound design by us and is currently being considered for the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Vidal Sassoon - 2009
Directed by Sassoon Sloane St.'s Jeremy Davis-Barbala, the 2009 show is about nature and serenity. The film (shot by Renan Fabio Rizzi) features two models in astonishing dresses by Mika Urbas, and really brings across this emotive nature.
Jeremy wanted the music to reflect this, however he also wanted an industrial overtone. Enter: OVERKILL MEDIA. The piece features piano, vocals and synth, destructively produced for juxtaposition. It's a perfect companion to the film.
The film and final performance won Sloane Street 2nd place in the competition, second only to Vidal Sassoon's own Academy.
You're Growing On Me - 2009
Animated by students at the University of Westminster, Gervais Merryweather, Yousif Al-Khalifa and Daniel J Permutt, this unconventional but stunning animation required various different styles of music - ranging from dance music to atmospheric pads.
We also assisted in the sound design, although were not involved in the final mix, which had to be done by the animators due to their own deadlines.
At the time of writing, the film has been short listed for the best student film category at the British Animation Awards!
Amnesty International - 2009
With a deadline of three hours, OVERKILL MEDIA had to provide something at record time for this installation piece, set up by the University of Westminster, for Amnesty International.
Given the animation resembled the stop-animation works of Charles Mills and Terry Brain, we decided to follow suit with a completely vocal track to support it. This ranged from beat boxing the music to voicing all the sounds. While daring, the audio was very well received by all parties.
Turbulence - 2009
A few excepts from a short film we recently worked on. The brief was to create 'circus sounding' music. That's exactly what we did.
